Rough Week for Star Gazing

We've had a lot of rain and rough weather this week, so I haven't taken the telescope outside at all this week.

The Clear Sky Chart gives me a little hope for tonight, although the forecast calls for clearer skies later in the night. It's Friday though and I've got nothing going on tomorrow morning, so maybe I'll make it a late night if the sky stays clear.

No Stars for Me Tonight

There's a thunderstorm warning for Dade County currently, so it's not looking like a good night to star watch for me. The skies are pretty cloudy.

Oh well, maybe tomorrow night.

Welcome to my new blog. While stargazing (amateur astronomy, or whatever else you want to call it) has been a hobby of mine off and on over the years, it's largely been a solitary thing.

I thought I'd start this blog to document my stargazing and to share what I'm doing with others. I'm not sure where this will go, but hopefully it will be fun.
